United States Environmental Protection Agency

The EPA is the branch of the US government that is charged with protecting human health and safeguarding the natural environment. CEER is funded in part by EPA and is closely linked to the National Center for Environmental Research and Quality Assurance (NCERQA).

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority

NYSERDA is a public benefit corporation created in 1975 by the New York State Legislature. This organization conducts a variety programs including energy and environmental research and development and helping industries, schools, hospitals, municipalities, not-for-profits, and NYS residents implement energy efficiency measures.

New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets

United States Department of Energy

The DOE is a US government science and technology agency whose research supports our nation's energy security, national security, environmental quality.  Programs that are part of the DOE include the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Network (EREN), the Office of Industrial Technologies (OIT) and the Office of Power Technologies (OPT).

The National Science Foundation

The National Science Foundation is an independent U.S. government agency responsible for promoting science and engineering through programs that invest over $3.3 billion per year in almost 20,000 research and education projects in science and engineering.

 

CEER is funded in large part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
