Dr. David Earl, new CEER direction, at 2003 CEER Annual Meeting

David Earl Appointed New CEER Director

On January 12, 2004, Alastair Cormack, Interim Dean of the School of Engineering at Alfred University, announced the appointment of David Earl, Assistant Professor of Ceramic Engineering and Materials Science, as Director of CEER. Dean Cormack stated, "David brings to this position a wealth of experience in managing, as well as conducting, research, and has been associated with CEER as quality assurance manager. He will assume his new duties in addition to his other faculty responsibilities."

CEER is funded in large part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
